Hephzibah: My Delight Is In Her

"For Zion's sake, I will not keep silent,
for Jerusalem's sake I will not remain quiet,
till her righteousness shines out like the dawn, her salvation like a blazing torch.
The nations will see your righteousness, and all kings your glory;
you will be called by a new name that the mouth of the LORD will bestow.
You will be a crown of splendor in the LORD's hand, a royal diadem in the hand of your God.
No longer will they call you Deserted, or name your land Desolate.
But you will be called Hephzibah (my delight is in her) and your land Beulah (married);
for the LORD your God will take delight in you, and your land will be married.
As a young man marries a maiden, so your sons (Builder) will marry you;
as a bridegroom rejoices over his bride, so will your God rejoice over you....
They will be called the Holy People, the Redeemed of the LORD;
and you will be called Sought After, the City No Longer Deserted."
Isaiah 62:1-5, 12

The Artist

"I thank my God everytime I remember you. In all my prayers for...you, I always pray with joy because of your partnership in the gospel from the first day until now.....you share in God's grace with me."
Philippians 1:3-5,7b

Erica Stringer is a blogging buddy of mine, and she is also the artist of my blog's header. When she "came out" as an artist I, being the girly girl that I am, fell in love with her expressions of worship. I asked her for a picture, thinking maybe I'd post one of her pictures in one of my blogposts (don't be surprised if you see something like that one of these days), but much to my surprise she asked if I wanted her to draw me my own picture. I agreed, she went to work and my beautiful header is the result. I hope you are as blessed by her work as I am.

Thank you, Erica, for my header and for being an inspiration and blessing, as well as being a good friend. Love ya, girly!!
